carl0s
http://www.uk2sucks.net/mvp.JPG What does 'held in airline bond' mean? Do I need to contact MVP to see if the invoice that Bax have shows a lower amount than I think? I mean.. it's a gift or replacement or something, right? I wish they'd have bloody phoned me yesterday. I bet they're closed now and I'm going to have to wait 'til Monday which is a pain as Kosmic is coming from miles away for my existing wheels tommorrow :frown:

MrAngry
Yep it is being held at the bonded warehouse. In other words still on the other side of the customs process

go-NATs
Does it mean that although it's still in customs custody, it's being insured by the airport? The costs will be passed to you, hence the statement 'may be gathering storage charges'. Better get there early, because something tells me that airlines don't always go for the cheapest insurance! go-NATS
carl0s
Yep, the storage costs they can go fuck themselves on. They have my phone number and have made no attempt to call me. Had they phoned on Friday, I'd have been right over there like a shot. Instead, they don't bother meaning it's in their storage over the weekend. carl0s
I think the bond bit might mean that my goods are actually the insurance!! They have paid the import duty, and if I don't pay it to them they keep the wheels
