Long story but...UK and US dyno figures do not tally.

Plenty of people have BPU cars on this BBS they should be able to give you a good idea of expected BHP.

Your mods are close to BPU bar decat and boost control, shouldn't be too expensive.

who is that?

kevin and michel

i know michel`s uk pulled 504bhp on well lane rolling road.

people tend to dismiss rolling roads now. and seem to go by thors at the hub numbers.

its good to know but means nothing, its no good having big power and spinning wheels on start line.

I'm not sure many people would beleive that figure for stock turbo's.

Not wanting to start any bunfights but at 10otb2 I could reel in Michel during in-gear acceleration. I've got the video to prove it :) I'm not 500bhp and I'm on hybrids. I got dyno'd at 470bhp before the cams but that was on rollers and I don't believe it (but I'll merrily quote it, lol) - I'd believe a hub dyno figure though.

I'm not talking about the whole 1/4 mile, launching, or gearchanges or random rev limiter issues that I believe both of us were suffereing from that day, I mean when we were both in gear I was accelerating a bit harder.

My two races against Michel were the best I had all day as they were so close :)

Er, isn't Michel on hybrids anyway?

Aye, I know his AEM is in as apparently it won't even start now :) The joys of car tuning.

Nothing like that hear i'm afraid

The may have bigger horses over there, but a quarter mile is a quarter mile. Or 402.336 meters ;)

Only cause we don't have easy and cheap access to full on race fuel and drag radials/slicks. I'm sure we'd be running 11 second 1/4's in BPU cars too if we did.

I think we do (ok so the fuel is more expensive), people just aren't (as it seams) prepared to pay for it.

Sure race fuel and slicks are available, but for a hell of a lot more money than in the states. How much for a pair of 275/40/17 drag radials over here then Gaz?
