Adam W
Take it to america and get it dyno'd You won't make that power on standard turbos, you'll need uprated hybrid turbos, about £2k plus fitting I think, plus larger injectors and pump. lackie
"America as in over the atlantic sea" you gotta be kidding i was kinda hoping that it would may be cost £2000 which is more than supra store was stating ($1800 dollars)
Paul Laing
Thats not true at all, i know two UK TT's with 450 - 500bhp proven on the Dyno's Paul
Supraguy
500hp on stock turbos? UK or not, I would like to see that. No NOS either?
GavinL
Long story but...UK and US dyno figures do not tally. Plenty of people have BPU cars on this BBS they should be able to give you a good idea of expected BHP. Your mods are close to BPU bar decat and boost control, shouldn't be too expensive. Ian C
Not wanting to start any bunfights but at 10otb2 I could reel in Michel during in-gear acceleration. I've got the video to prove it I'm not 500bhp and I'm on hybrids. I got dyno'd at 470bhp before the cams but that was on rollers and I don't believe it (but I'll merrily quote it, lol) - I'd believe a hub dyno figure though. I'm not talking about the whole 1/4 mile, launching, or gearchanges or random rev limiter issues that I believe both of us were suffereing from that day, I mean when we were both in gear I was accelerating a bit harder. My two races against Michel were the best I had all day as they were so close Er, isn't Michel on hybrids anyway? -Ian

I'm sure we'd be running 11 second 1/4's in BPU cars too if we did.

Gaz. Sure race fuel and slicks are available, but for a hell of a lot more money than in the states. How much for a pair of 275/40/17 drag radials over here then Gaz? Ian C
Wouldn't they take like a whole lap to warm up properly, rather than a quick burnout? Or did you get them for track days? -Ian
