OK, they're big, they make your car go faster, you need a new manifold, airfilters, pipework, wastegate, fuel system etc.

They work in paralell, meaning that you don't get positive boost until ~4000rpm, and you could really do with other modifications to assist power below their spool up point.

Do it properly and they can make your car go like stink...

What more do you need to know? :D

HKS GT 2835 Twin Turbos

I have cut a deal for the AWESOME GT 2835 HKS Twin Monster Turbo Upgrade Kit!!! This kit is not only capable of building well beyond 750rwhp, and it slaughters Venom 650R Vipers for snacks too. This kit also has quality looks as well. (pictured is the HKS kit installed on a 2JZGTE hanging from a engine hoist, beautiful!..go ahead click on the pic for a big shot). Guilly's HKS GT2835 twin car with a small single fogger shot of nitrous did 875RWHP on this kit with cams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(2) HKS GT-Series ball bearing turbos 71mm compressor wheel, .50 exhaust a/r, 51.2mm exh.wheel HKS header, Heat Shields HKS downpipe 2 into 1 (2) HKS wastegates Oil feeds & returns w/ all the correct fittings Dual HKS intake pipes w/ HKS filters, rubber fittings & clamps, miscellaneous installation fittings. BOV's (optional at additional cost)

Click on the thumb nail of that dyno sheet above and see what this kit can do. These are well tuned cars, set-up to build big HP. This particular car only has cams. If you look carefully you will notice that there are back-to-back dyno pulls on this car, showing incredible reproducibility from pull-to-pull.

In order to build this level of HP, upgraded fuel systems, additional electronics, camshafts and tuning are required.

$7,863.00

Well, they're twice the price of a big single, which would give you the same horsepower and boost characteristics . . .

I would definitely speak to Leon at JPS about this; we can all regurgitate information but he's driven more big power supras than most, with all kinds of turbo setups. He runs the big twins on his (not sure how big but I'm sure he's had 2835s at one point) and tuned a load of big single cars so will be able to compare and contrast the two.
