RedM
I've tried every which way and I can't see behind the glass at all! Does it clip in place? Should I just pull it? TBH I can't even get a good purchase on it. I want to reove as there is a plastic film on it that is getting more and more knacked and impairing vision. It'll scrape off but I'd like to sit in the warm and do it.

RedM
Just been out to try it and TBH I've pulled it so much it must be close to breaking and it still wont come out. I can see the hinge things but they just aren't giving the mirror up.

osso
The mirror plate is clipped on from the bottom, and hooked from the top. If you force it open from the top or the sides, you will break it!! Just push the top end as far as it will go, you will here several clicks. Then from the bottom of the mirror, you will need to prise it open. To do this, use a spoon or a knife, it will unclip with little force, then you simply unhook the top part of the mirror.

RedM
Went out this evening. Couldn't free it for love nor money. Ended up scraping it off whilst knelt on the driveway. What a difference it makes having removed the very scuffed anti-glare film.
