Been noticing something about the supe for a while now that has started to bug me, on full lock (and only really noticed in reverse, although I dont think that's important), the front wheels seem to "skip", a slight judder as if the tyres are slipping.

It doesn't seem to affect the handling and tyre pressures are fine, am I being a total numpty and missing something obvious/common or can anyone offer any suggestions?

Cheers

hmmmm, ok - seems like it a common enough problem, I have had it jacked up recently to change all the brake pads and that didn't settle it, might have to have a poke around (difficult without knowing what to look for).

I dont have an LSD though so it isn't that.

yeah I have 17's with uprated suspension, only thing that concerned me was the possibility of something being loose, it seems that we are all having a similar experience though so that causes me less worry.

Will probably have a look anyway.

Thanks muchly

I have it when I'm getting off the drive in the morning and have to apply a lot of lock. It feels like the wheels are dragging. Also get it in the very lovely 'The Light' car-park in Leeds.

Had it before Eagle F1s and still have it.

As it's a Supra problem it'll cost silly money to fix.

I get this too, when reversing off the drive or from cold in 1st gear.

Im sure it's a frost/ice thing!

it did it before we got the frost, so i dont think its down to that. it does feel like tyres slipping though.

ive been assuming its my sub frame bolts so was going to check them sometime in the near future.

I get exactly the same thing, coming down off the drive, on wheel comes down the kurb and on full right lock..

Not noticed it anywhere else.

I had this too with the F1s - Full lock from coming out of my drive and the front wheels seem to slip/slight judder - Don't get it at all with the Toyos!
