supRo
Just wandering about this and I have searched, are the JDM and UK supra spare wheel exactly the same? Just worried as my car came with 16"s originally and if my spare wheel is smaller than the UK spare wheel....will it fit over the UK front brakes that I have!!! Hope I don't get a puncture on the front!
Ben-san
Ro, I've got UK brakes on the front, and I've had to use the spare once. They clear the brakes.
Pixelfill
slight hijack here, I've been wondering whether I need to change the tyre on the spare since my car has 18's on. Presumably the rolling circumferance of the 18s is similar to the stock wheels. Mike

Scooter
99% sure the spares are the same no matter what supra you have, so you'll be fine.......... PIxel fill, the 18's 'should' have been fitted with tyres to approx maintain the stock rolling radius and there the spare won't need to be changed (not that i'm sure you could change it easily as its a wierd size / pressure)
Ben-san
...do you know if yours came with 16"s originally? AFAIK yes. Also agree with Scooter.

The Space-saver makes the car handle so WEIRDLY that a slight difference in diameter is the LEAST of yer worries ! ! ! ! I won't use Space savers when the difference between THEM and the wheel on the CAR is too great. It's far too easy to forget you've got it on and start driving faster (>~45) or cornering too vigorously, or too far. I keep SHITTY Foam-Repair-Cans and an electric pump on board and use that JUST to get home on (rather have a slow leak than completely wrong size wheel tyre !!) PLUS it gives more shopping space !?! FatS.
Pixelfill
Cheers Steve, I don't intend ever using the space saver, but just wondered whether it was useable should I need to. I did have a quick check using the tyresize util, and was shocked, so might end up getting some of that gunk just to be safe. How's the colouring in going? have you got to grips with it yet, I noticed you've changed your avatar Mike
