Muffleman
31 actually, can't believe it ! I'm still 17 years old in my head, MAX How the hell did I get to be 31 so soon ?!? What worries me is how quickly I'll be 40, and then 50. Before hitting 30, I didn't give my mortality a thought, now I think about it a lot !!! I thought I'd be okay turning 30 but nope, grumpy as hell on the actual day and still not got over it ! Oh well, best continue pissing my money away on cars and big tellys, can't take it with me Anyone else struggle with the big 30 ?

RedM
I'll be 35 in just iver a week. i still think I'm about 21 and I often think some people are so 'grown up' and they are younger than me.
geoffvalenti
I never think that age matters. After all it's only a number. Its how you act and feel that makes the difference. I see people my age, 48, look at them and think "I know I don't look/seem that old" Some people are old way before their time, I really think it's just an attitude of mind. Sure, you're theoretically closer to death the older you get, but who knows how long any of us have got anyway. Nothing changes, I still piss all my money away on cars and yeah, I still feel like 17 MAX

Muffleman
Glad I'm not on my own then TBH it's not my age that bothers me, it's the fact that I've spent 30years on this planet already, and that I can't do it too many more times ! Depressing I know, maybe a midlife crisis is round the corner Don't worry, I'm not all morose about it, it's just something that I now think about and never used to. Charlotte
I think 30/31 is young. Its exactly as Geoff said, some people act older than their years - both my grandmas are over 85 and seem about 70 to me, but i see people that are 30 who act like they are 40. Then i get scared and think how do you define what you should be doing at a certain age. Should i be out enjoying myself, travelling etc etc before i 'settle' down and have kids? I'm 5 years behind you but i still think about Mortality massively. I hope i don't get to 50 and think - crap i should have done more with my life. You don't need to have a mid-life crisis, you already have a balls out sports car.

Max Headroom
Im fast approaching 47 and I dont feel it, in my head im still 18 but my body reminds me im 47. The thing is tomorrow you could be run over by a bus, so why worry about your age. Live life to the full and when you reach these milestones you will not feel these "oh my god, Im 30/40/50" moments. We shouldn't look back but forward and never regret what you have done, whether good or bad, as they are in the past
