Alex
Hi, My Girlfriend has an 02 Fiesta and tonight it started hesitating at low rpm's pulling away from the lights etc. It didn't seem to be dependent on throttle position, much more to do with Rev's. Fueling issue was my first thought (injector/fuel filter blocked) ....maybe sparks...maybe the fuel itself? Then maybe its the ECU. Brain's a bit addled what should I do first? Take it for an extended high speed run? Disconnect the ECU? Put some Optimax in it for it's cleaning properties? All 3?
Graham S
does it still rev through the rev range? if it doesn't wanna pull past about 3/4k revs then its more than likely to be the exhaust/cat. Had shed loads of them come in with blocked cats... that or air leak, does it sound throaty?

Alex
Well it's dead now Breakdown engineer susgested it was the coil pack - delivered the car to a Ford Dealership... Sounds like it's running on 3 cylinders...Graham, do you know if the coil is a likely culprit.
