Clarkey
I think there is a program called NeroVision that does this for you.
Chris Wilson
Preferably something free I have found an evaluation copy of something, it only allows 10 minutes recording. For this one off i don't really want to buy something. Cheers.
Pete
Nero Vision comes with the complete Nero package. You could try the copy of Nero you have and say you want to make a DVD Video and drag that file onto it - it may convert it for you. Alternatively stick the file on your FTP server and I'll do it for you.

I have put the 2 films in .wmv format in the "videos" folder on ftp://ftp.chriswilson.tv they are large, if the download is too slow, no worries. I can put them on a CD and hand them to you some time. Thanks for the offer. haven't seen Jane to ask re the party yet. She's out tonight. Soumds good. I'll just burn them straight to DVD and you can have that rather than upload it again for you. Thanks for the offer. haven't seen Jane to ask re the party yet. She's out tonight. Sounds good. Yep - we always have a great laugh. A nice friendly bunch of people. (If a little enthusiastic around alcohol )

DamanC
The file needs to be transcoded. go out and buy/obtain the user version of nero, it is the easiest way of doing it
