carl0s
Plus is there not a special rate for people with dedicated legitmate bussiness with PP?? I could be making that up but i thought they didn't get the same fee's. I think it's that personal accounts don't have any fees but businesses do. That might be NoChex though. carl0s
Either way, I don't see the problem from the buyers point of view. They're either going to pay the 4% and not be told about it, or they will be told clearly and given the option to pay another way.
Supra-Dupra
Well they asked me to forward ID on cos i recieved more than 6,500 euro. Then I payed some dude £200 for a phone i never recieved. They then refused to claim for my money back from the seller, so I went to ccard company, and forwarded all documents and got my money back. And sent all the same documents to Paypal. Now paypal have limited my account to recieving only and want me to pay THEM the £200 before I have full services again..... B*****KS.....BUNCH OF CROOKS Let me add the seller had NO proof of Postage.
Jive
Most people like to use Paypal cos posting cheques etc is a pain in the ass, and as for sending cash in the post or queuing at the post office for 30 mins to get a postal order.... Really? I sold 222 items last year on Ebay, not in one single transaction did I offer the buyer the chance to pay with PayPal and not one single person moaned about that! Personally I think PayPal is a complete rip off with their charges especially if your a seller .. what with Ebay charges going up all the time as well. You could always defect to Ebid.co.uk and sell on there for free!!
ivan
Now paypal have limited my account to recieving only and want me to pay THEM the £200 before I have full services again..... Let your CC company know. I'm sure they'd have something to say to EBay about that...
