brian73united
Hi all whats the best out of these exhausts for sound and performance between the HKS hi power, RSR, APEXI GT SPEC or the BLITZ NUR SPEC R cos i need a new one and just can not make my mind up what to get
Ulrik
For loud sounds and good performance go for HKS Ti 4" (the most expensive) If you want to save some money but still have good sound and good performance then take Blitz Nur Spec I myself have HKS 4" Titanium... uk-rich
i was in the same mind as you mate, i went for the nur spec, very happy with it, and if you take your time, and use your noggin it can be fitted so it doesn't catch on speed ramps and the like

carl0s
There's a BL 4" for sale in the for sale section here. Supposed to be the absolute dogs danglies. I have an RS*R with no cats and it's loud but acceptable. There can' be a drone when on the motorway, some strange phenomenon maybe to do with pressure, but lifting off briefly and accerating gently back to speed stops it. RS*R on an N/A is too loud IMO. Have first hand experience of one on a 5spd N/A and it was too much. Is your car NA or turbo? Ground clearance is apparently second to none on the RS*R. The downside with the RSR is that the piping is actually mild steel, not stainless. The muffler/backbox whatever it's called is stainless. I'm sure I heard mention that mild steel is what gives a nicer sound, so perhaps it's not all bad.

ChrisSZ
Mild steel gives a more mellow sound than stainless - due to the resonance and vibration characteristics of the metal. RS-R on a N/A sounds wicked - can't wait do de-cat mine for the full fat effect LOL
zorglub
maybe some of you got video or audio of exhaust's sound ?
