SimonB
I have two credit cards that I use, but I pay them off every month. One is a Shell card so I buy my fuel with that and build up some Airmiles, the other is Nationwide, who don't charge foreign exchange charges if you use the card outside of the UK - which is great if you like to travel. I have no idea what the APR on either is though (I don't really need to know given the way I use them). Yep, same here. Nationwide for buying stuff from the USA or abroad - by far the cheapest way of paying for stuff in foreign currency. I've also got a Morgan Stanley mastercard which I buy everything on because it gives 0.5% cashback for the 1st 5K or something and then 1% after that. I then pay it off every month. It's like getting 1% off everything you buy.
