Bobbeh
3 types. JDM plastic, JDM plastic w black backs (98 onwards I think), and uk/euro spec glass w chrome backs
ChrisSZ
.........and of the three the UK/Euro ones are the ones to have - clear and no yellowing like the Jspec plastic ones!
Ben-san
Some people do however, prefer the shape of the plastic type over the glass ones. If you're fussy like that. Otherwise, for clarity it's best to go glass.
hulse
is there much difference in the shape

jazz1
forget angel eyes buy the facelift lights and buy the HID kit which will make you lights blue etc like the ones you see on new cars

The glass ones offer the best vision unless you've got a HID kit fitted. Burred front vision? Sounds like you have the plastic JDM ones. Ben-san
You mean you have condensation? Took me a minute to think about this too Bobbeh , and after much deliberation I think he means the de-lined effect. Jazz, I understand that they're not to your liking, but they're far from crap

Bobbeh
I believe those 'clear' ones are also plastic, so will no doubt go yellow over time like the normal JDM lights.

J-S14A
Any decent glass supplier should be able to polish the lines from glass headlights, but this will seriously affect the performance of the lights, especially on full beam. I think the yellowing on the earlier jap import cars is due to the chrome surface constantly reflecting light back onto the inside of the plastic lenses (probably because of the huge chromed areas on these). I've seen plenty of other types jap import cars with plastic lights that do not suffer from this phenomenon.
Nic
I believe those 'clear' ones are also plastic, so will no doubt go yellow over time like the normal JDM lights. The early headlights yellow and scratch a lot more than the facelift ones do. My facelift headlights are a few years old now, but are like new still after car is washed. Thinking perhaps the lens material was changed on the later headlights.
