Wez
Get standard UK Spec disks and then go for some Chris Wilson pads, make a nice difference I have Hi-Spec bell and rotors on mine but to be honest apart from looking good I think the stock disks are better and cheaper. DannoSupra
Got a price on EBC OEM Spec Discs Front £99 each ex VAT, Rear £52 each ex VAT. Redstuff Pads £78.28 + £46.35 All prices are RRP, i think i can get 30%
Zed
Get standard UK Spec disks and then go for some Chris Wilson pads, make a nice difference Unless you do a lot of track days the uk brakes with CW pads will definitely exceed all you braking needs. I know this because it's what I had.
DannoSupra
£390 all in for those brakes
RedM
I paid less than that for genuine Toyata parts.
Wez
I think the general opinion on EBC stuff is leave it for the Novas and Corsas. I dont know of anyone who has had a good experience with EBC on Supra.
Nic
Hi my car needs discs + pads, front and rear soon. UK Spec Big Brakes.... Any Recomendations? Ta:think: If you are able to wait a few weeks for postage, I have genuine Toyota front discs, plus front and rear TRD black fast road pads in stock at the moment. The TRD pads are very good and give a lot better bite over the stock pads. I don't have rear discs in stock so would need to order these from Toyota Japan. Ian C
Blueprint are very good for UK spec disks, CW for the pads. Don't touch EBC with a bargepole -Ian
RiceRocketUk
I sell EBC discs but I wouldnt recommend them for a Supra, in cases like this i find under heavy braking they grind
bignum
i use red dot 20 groove discs with red stuff pads and do a few trackdays, cant fault them, oh braided lines with some decent fluid helps aswell.

Chris Wilson
You can't beat stock discs, unless you go to separate discs and bells, which will cost about 350 a corner. Forget all the grooved, drilled, funny coated, EBC, red Dot junk, OE is as good as it gets for discs unless you go to a lightweight race disc on seperate alloy bells, as above. My fast road pads will not squeal, will give a useful amount extra "bite" and fade resistance, and are still (just..) on special offer at 140 a full car set plus P&P. I can often get OE discs at a good price, depends if my Toyota dealer is having a "service items" special offer at the time.
Jspec Germany
Chris, Which braided lines? I've got a set of brand new US spec fronts to swap to my jspec and I want to put the braided lines on and swap fluid at the same time. Motul? What's the cost on this stuff? 5.1 right? I haven't been able to find any here in Germany. Thanks.
Scoboblio
Chris recommended Motul RBF600 to me, and goodridge braided lines edited to correct spelling
Jspec Germany
That RBF600, how much did it cost you? Do you know the difference between the two types of goodridge lines?
Scoboblio
The fluid was £6.80 a bottle, no idea on the difference between hoses though.
