terribleturner
What's best and why when it comes to the intake cam?? Do i just put A. A breather filter on? B. A catch tank to breather filter or C. Catch tank to air filter. And what are the pro's and con's to each one??

JohnA
If the catchtank does it's job then the oil mist will condense and most of the crap will be sitting there waiting for your Highness. It's a good idea to have the intake vacuum *pull* rather than excessive (above atmospheric) pressure in the camcover *push* itself out. You do not want any pressure buildup in the crankcase, it interferes with the lubrication of the turbo(s)
Dave S
James ...remember my front crank oil seal failure last July after the Wycombe meet ......I'm sure that my running a breather filter to atmos was a contributing factor.... ps hope to meet up on sat m8 Dave
