HunterJ
Generally 123-reg.co.uk are the cheapest and best. Agreed, I have most of my domains here. I also have a few at 1and1.co.uk with a basic email package... Jamie
toyotasuprauk
Sorry if this sound silly but what gives these companies to right to sell the address and charge £8.99 a year for it? Surely they have no rights over it.
cashpoint
they don't a company called nominet has the rights these companies just resell the domain names

Mike
..and beware of 'The Domain Registry of America'... a bunch of spammers that write to you telling you to pay them money to renew... when they have nothing to do with any of it.... jackso11
If you have any needs for domain registation, or anything else to do with an ISP you can call me at work. I work for Claranet the ISP. Its mainly a business ISP, the largest indepentant ISP in europe so we know what we are doing. IF its just a domain registration it costs a bit more than the cheaper ones, but you get a busines level support, tiered depending on what you have with us so you don't all have to queue on the same lines. Anyway, if you need anything, from domains up (all the way to MPLS, LES circuits etc...) my number is 0207 6858251 - Thats my dd (Adam)

chilli
I can recommend http://www.blackcatnetworks.co.uk - a smaller company so they tend to be more helpful and responsive. You get control over all the settings - DNS records etc via the web interface too. I've registered several domains and never had a moments trouble. Mike
Wkd and I can register domains for round about £5.50 a year for co.uk's and £12.50 for com's, through one of our trade partners that's a good reduction.... I usually pay £9.99 for .co.uk and £35 for .com maybe scratch Easily off the list then... think I'm being ripped off here!?
wkdboi2005
£11.00.co.uk for two years maybe
Mike
£11.00.co.uk for two years maybe yeah, sorry, all the ones I buy are for two years.... is that good then?!
chilli
blackcat do .co.uk for £6 per year and .com for £12 per year, thought that was a fairly standard price but even if it was a more expensive than others, it's worth it for flexibility and at the end of the day it's only pennies anyway...
