Steve W2
Can anyone tell me if the shocks and springs for the SZR are the same diameter/length as the GZ TT? Do they fit in the same position angle and are they interchangeable? Out of preference what is everyone preferred choice of spring to lower the car and by how much? I intend on making some phone calls today but value your opinions.
Steve W2
I hva e done a search on the site and found that a few people have had Eibach's fitted, but there are also people that slate the lowering springs. Chris Wilson - How much are your progressive wound lowering springs fitted?

Koni have stopped making the base model shock that the re valved units are based on, I now use a Bilstein shock. The valving works ou the same, so nothing alters other than the make of the base units... I WILL sell my springs without matching shocks, but they need to be fitted on the Toyota Bilstein dampers to be even close to being properly damped. For best results I would recommend fitting them as a package, and that's 1200 quid fitted, with a suspension geo reset thrown in. Thanks for the kind words Nick, they reflect the feedback from all the other ownres who have my kit fitted and set up. Unlike the Whiteline kits, none have leaked or failed, and nor have any springs "settled"
womble
Steve, I too can vouch for the quality of this kit, If I was only able to keep one of all the mods I've had done to my car this would be the one no doubt about it. I've got a review of it up on here somewhere if you search my previous posts.
Steve W2
Thanks for your help guys, I found out yesterday afternoon that my SZR has Tein NR shocks and uprated springs on it that look very new. My car is going in the garage on Monday next week to have them swapped on to the GZ TT. I am really pleased with the way the SZR feels/handles so thought this might be best as my local garage will do the swap for £180. Does anyone know for sure if it is a straight swap though. I'm sure it must be:( If not I will find out Monday.
