Suprasteve
Does any one on the forum or trader sell the rubber blocks that stop the squeeky boot?????? :search: they're only about £8 from Toyota. If you're going to replace them yourself be very careful they are a bitch to do. do a search for advice. as a short term temporary fix unscrew the top plastic stoppers and stick a couple of washers underneath them. ... but best replacing them. supRo
You may be one of the lucky ones and that they are only screwed in without loctite! Mines took 2 mins to replace Replace the stoppers on the car and the rubbers on the hatch lid and use new toyota screws for the stoppers. They have changed design from the original

ardasaliah
Worse job ever- They bloody glue the screws in. Live with it
paulmann
Nah dont live with it. deal with it. ITS SO EASY. Buy new ones from toyota. (£20). Rip out old ones with pliers. This will leave the screws still in with washers. Then heat up the srews with a flame, i used a culinary blow torch. This melts the glue. It takes 2 minutes. EASY Fecking Peasy. DONT try to unscrew them without heating them up otherwise you will strip the head.
