HunterJ
Should this still readily available from Toyota? I've just been told they don't do it anymore - any ideas on an alternative? Cheers Jamie
supRo
Should this still readily available from Toyota? I've just been told they don't do it anymore - any ideas on an alternative? Cheers Jamie I'm sure they still do,! I think Envy may have it in stock. Phoenix have a big stock but but not sure if they do supply only on it (They are a long way from you for a gear box oil change!) If you get stuck, PM me and I'll try to sort you out via my Toyota contact. You should only use V160 oil in the Getrag 6 speed box Cheers, Ro

supRo
It's suprising how many Toyota parts staff/mechanics even refuse to believe the existence of V160 gearbox oil!
HunterJ
I gave them the part number (from the oil post) and they said they could order it - but couldn't tell me what it was Thanks guys Jamie
francis
Get the stuff from Steve Manley, he does it for about 13 quid a litre!
Soonto_HAS_soop
Get the stuff from Steve Manley, he does it for about 13 quid a litre! Yeah, it's been reduced in price ercently, I paid over £30 per litre when I changed mine! Mr T. denied all knowledge of it when I asked for some also, when I then gave them the part no. reference for it, they told me that it was suspension oil and not for the V160. Funny how the receipt said V160 Gear Oil?
Ulrik
Who can get best price on the V160 gear box oil ? Nic price quote ? (including shipping to sweden) And how much do i need, when i change gear box oil ? 2 bottle ? (2 L?)
Mike M
I'm just off the phone to Mr T, i've ordered 2 litres at 18 quid a litre. Previous posts have said between 1.5 and 1.8 litres for an oil change. Had to quote the part No from here as they were going to fob me off with 75w 90 stuff. The mechanic there has never seen a 6sp supra. Mike
