Soop Dogg
I did this one January in Minnesota. I was in a mini van and it was cold out - V. Cold - I'm talking about -40 to -45 degrees C! Well, this type of weather is NOT for walking in. With the wind chill that night at around -70 it can freeze any exposed flesh in about 3 to 4 mins. The car had stalled on a junction in the middle of nowhere. Nothing around but snow covered prairies. I got out and pushed the car to the side of the road. Then got back in to wrap up fully before trying to walk somewhere. As I put the handbrake on I stuck it in 'P'. Just before getting out to lock it all up and walk away, I thought I'd just give it a last go at starting. 1st time on the button. Knew immediately what I'd done and felt like a right numpty! Could've not made it that night through my own stupidity. On the bright side, at least I didn't call anyone else to come and laugh at me! how_supra
Te he. I've done a similar thing in my FTO. Pulled up at some traffic lights, the car stalled [not sure why - its an AUTO], spent ages trying to get the keys out of the ignition, ten minutes later I thought about checking my gear box - which was still in drive DOH!!
