J-S14A
This Supra has recently appeared on Ebay. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1993-TOYOTA-SUPRA-Twin-Turbo-UK-Model_W0QQitemZ4615022556QQcategoryZ18290QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem At a first glance, it looks like incredible value for money, but a closer ook at the pictures shows excessive steering wheel wear, and the car has no service history after 39k. I get the feeling there's a bit more to this Supra than meets the eye, but I would appreciate any comments on this as otherwise it's exactly what i'm after. Bobbeh
Sounds like one I passed on about 4 years ago, that had 75k miles on and 'Blitz mods'.
DamanC
i wanna know how they managed to twist like this looks genuine enough, but if your really not sure.......walk away, there will be others
J-S14A
Sounds like one I passed on about 4 years ago, that had 75k miles on and 'Blitz mods'. Did yours have a meshed front grille? My ld s14a had 115k and the steering wheel was mush better than that.
Bobbeh
Didnt see it, just saw ad on autotrader, I was put off by the mods and higher mileage to what I was looking for, but that was a blue UK six speed. I mean it looks clean enough from the pics (apart from those crappy wheels) but its interesting why its not got a decent Toyota history, something that needs checking out but by no means sounds like its due to it being dodgy. A good HPI check should see most issues.

tbourner
There's a lot of UKs about at the moment! I was hoping prices would level off as summer approached!
J-S14A
I'm still a bit undecided about the colour though...
lockys96
Yeh, that car should fetch 15k easily, but no-one will pay that, if that is geniune mileage, than that is really low. on ebay, ill say it will be under 10k
jim_supra
Looks nice, I'd be tempted. well I am tempted but have big plans for my supe now. As lockys96 says, doubt it'll break the 10k mark.

You should know theres no interest in sports cars during the winter, good time for a bargain but not if you're selling I guess.

J-S14A
Just carried out a hpi check with ebay. It's previously been written off, and has a mileage discrepancy! I think i'll email him and thank him for wasting my £6.99!!!
Bobbeh
..J-S14A ... it might be worth asking that as a question on his ad, that way others wont have to pay to find out that info? can you do that with ebay or can he pick and chose what he wants to appear on it? I think i'll email him and thank him for wasting my £6.99!!! You didn't need to pay for that. 8 previous owners and a closeup shot of the steering wheel are enough to suggest that the real mileage is not far from double of what he claims. J-S14A
I guess loosing £6.99 is better than £10k in the long run

J-S14A
Ok, it's looking even worse. I've just been looking at this persons ebay history, and it appears he has just been buying loads of very cheap items to bump his ebay level up. only appears to be 1 or 2 legitimate transactions...
