Just wondering about why this happens - Turbo timer

Hi all,

Not an urgent question/problem, but it has got me wondering why...

I had a new battery a while back. OPTIMA RED TOP battery.

Installed this having to modify a few things, for it to fit properly, also had to extend the original battery cables as it was connected to a shitty small good for micra battery :search:

Anyways, did the job quickly to test everything and all was fine. And for the first time when switching off the ingnition, the turbo timer kicked in without the engine have a slight dip then continuing to run fine until the time ran out.

Excellent I thought.. Must be down to the new battery...

Anyways, tidied up the wiring and making it more secure and tight etc etc, and now, the darn thing has gone back to having a slight dip in engine running when the ingition is turned off, but then again, runs fine until timer turns off the engine..

Anyone know much about electrics and can explain why this may happen?

Thanks,

Marcus.

Once again, not important, just wondering what may be causing the difference.
