Seb
Was driving the Aristo today, and something came to my attention that I had noticed once before. If I plant the throttle against its stop from a standstill, the car doesn't do anything for a fraction of a second before moving off, but not with amazing conviction. If, however, I give it half throttle or so, the car takes off much more rapidly. Is this normal? Do auto Supras do the same thing? The gearboxes are essentially identical on both cars. JohnA
Try the same launch with traction control switched off. If it's now faster, then you know.
