Doug, didn't you know you can buy electronic guitar tuners these days? That puts you out of a job mate. I would be nice if people didn't start naming names in this thread, as various posts will appear to be full of hints when in reality they were never meant to. Yeah, right! Does it make prices cheaper? Maybe, but ultimately a Blitz Nur spec costs x amount from Blitz themselves, with vat/import/sales duty to be added, plus any carriage charges and the traders cut, unless Trader A is running at a massive loss, and Trader B is being optomistic to the point of taking the wee-wee, prices will be in a ballpark of each other. It'd would be great for every tuner to contribute to a 'bolt on' thread, of what they'd use to make a BPU car, a BPU+, a Single and then Big Twins, then discuss the differences in each case, as opposed to the usual "I stand by XYZ" then for the next guy to say "they are shit, I use..." Just seems a snobby attitude towards some of us less knowledgeable members. But Ive got my soop 6 months so, like it enough to go abroad and drive it back, have it upgraded to BPU, installed some nice ice, cost me in the region of 3k, and Im a student, some work I did myself some I got a MECHANIC (person with actually motor QUALIFICATION). I should have made it clearer that is my mistake. I was saying as in all these so called experts in the 2JZ opened up now, and whether they know what theyre doing. It was a mere observation from an owners/club members point of view. They are a few around who are top notch, you know who u guys are. You cannot then moan when people have a go back. If you wanted to have a nice easy thread you should have posted that it is open for discussion as long as no one disagrees with you. Cant remember any of the new tuners on here proclaiming to be 'Experts' with the supra engine, and as far as i know they haven't had any bad feedback so far. I think the problem here is that you aren't saying it like it is - you clearly want to get something off your chest regarding a particular 'tuner' (or tuners?) but aren't man enough to just come out and name them.
