Gordon F
I'm interested to know if you all run the same rim sizes front and rear. Mine are 7.5x17 front and rear. Tyre sizes are 235/45 . 17 (F) and 255/40.17 ®. The 7.5 is stamped on the rim and is the tyre bead width and not the outside rim width. I would be grateful for any comments on this. Steve Cargill
Gordon, I've got 17x8.5 with 235x45ZR17's on the front and 17x9.5 with 265x40ZR17 on the rear. http://www.cargills.demon.co.uk/supra/ for piccies - and for an example of what happens to a web site if you put no effort into presentation.... Syed Shah
They are quite narrow wheels, especially for a TT. Maybe you should look into some wider rims. Say 9"x18 and 10" on the back. Shame though since your wheels look lovely!

Doubt you could safely move to wider tyres though. (Edited by Phil Wall at 12:40 pm on Dec. 23, 2001)
Matt Harwood
My wheels are straight from a GS300 Lexus. They are 8x18 with 235/35/18 on the front and 10x18 with 275/35/18 on the rear. With help from Dean, I know they will happily fit the UK spec as well.
Gordon F
Love the website Steve!!!! Good (lack of ) effort! I'd just like to make sure that we are all measuring rim width in the same place. Are we all talking about bead width? I've seen 'caliper' type measurers used on wheel balancers which measure the outer rim width, but I don't think that this is the actual wheel dimension. I'd just like to clarify this before I rush out and buy new tyres and wheels!
Steve Cargill
Thanks Gordon, I'll get around to tidying it up one day, but I'm not naturally artistic (in case you hadn't guessed ) and decided to get some content on there first then worry about how it looked..... My measurements are as printed on the rim by the manufacturer.
