ChrisSZ
I've used it on the rear hubs in the past with no ill effects - I have also known people to use it on callipers without problems:)

stt
Put red hammerite on the disc centres and the calipers of my old car,It had green stuff pads of which the paint was supposed to withstand temperatures of 600 degrees.....That promptly came off but the calipers good fandango! black cat
ive always used hammerite, never had a problem. rub down with wet and dry and get as smooth as poss. spend more time doing this and a flat smooth will come out perfect. dont rush it. however in this temp its almost too gluepy......... take car out for a run and warm things up a tad. not too hot mind or .......... Barney
Have Hammerite smooth on my hubs, getting on for 3 years and no problems. Just make sure you clean and sand properly.
black cat
ive found the best paint for the hub is halfords own 500 deg silver spray. mask where the pads are gona hit the disk and give the whole disk 3 coats.
