npotts
Hi Mate I had loose seatbelts on my last NA, and after speaking to Toyota was told that the whole system that the belt runs off was, how can I put it - shagged!!! Basically, they fitted a new lot and the belts worked perfectly after then. Bad news is the price - I cant remember the exact cost but its over £100 a side Im sure!! ie - not cheap... Hope this helps a little - sorry I cant remember the technical term for the unit. Nick
supRo
Hi mate, welcome. Contact CJ's contact "Steve Manley (Parts Manager) a call on 01865 291300 and mention my name (Colin Jones)" Try Nic (trader on here) too. Don't get secondhand seatbelt parts as you definitely want it to work in the event of an accident!! Cheers, Ro

Phil I'll check the price for you, what year/model is your Supra? Just checked, there are about 10 different seat belt versions, so probably best to pm me your frame number, so I can check which part number you need. andrew7
I've been reliably informed that you can sometimes effect a cure on slack belts by doing the following: 1. The roller collects debris (hair etc) over a period of time. Clean it out as a first option. 2. Silicone the belt to rejuvinate its slipping properties, they gett snagged in the trim entry holes etc. 3. (Radical) Shave the belt with a razor to remove any wear debris. brassbones
Just resurrecting this to see if anyone has up to date info on how to get the seatbelts to retract properly when unfastened. Post #7 sounds interesting. Any other offers?
