Guest SteveW's Carole
What sort of things are you after knowing/seeing matie ??? FatS.
c0c4in3
I picked up a 93 J-Spec manual from the harbour today. When I opened the engine it looked like something is missing. But I only have a 93 UK Spec here for comparison. And the UK Spec bay looks much more fuller than the J-Spec one.
Guest SteveW's Carole
Do you mean bits AROUND the engine bay ??? OR the actual engine itself ? As Pete says his is a typical TT (UK or JAP)... .....except the SNAZZY SUSPENSION BRACE ! !
c0c4in3
hi mate mines a 95dont think there is any difference Hi peter... Thank you. The thing on the top left is the cruise control unit? That's what's missing... But the car don't have a cruis control stick :-)

peter richards
if you picked it up from the harbour , maybe the octopi has nicked something
c0c4in3
hehe. that was my first thought. Maybe some worker on the boat took a part for his own car. But the car runs fine, except the traction control. The Slip Cont (orange light) is flashing up all the time and the car has zero traction control. Where is the tc unit located? LeeT
the UK spec will have all the EGR stuff bolted to the back of the intake manifold and also has a large Trac pump to the right of the intake manifold. these bits alone make the UK spec engine bay look fuller

Homer
Looks okay, except I can't see the BOV. Is that on one of the IC pipes somewhere?
c0c4in3
Homer. I have no idea where the guy fitted the BOV. I hear the sound but even if you take a close look to the engine you can't find it. Maybe he fitted it under the car??? No idea. Maybe I will find it tomorrow. Thanks...
