Bobbeh
No, just sounds like a TVR dealer/specialist has been granted permissions to fit/supply TTE parts to Toyotas. I think you should re-word your thread title as its totally misleading
Pete
Interesting move though.
Bobbeh
Why? I dont see what all the fuss is about. Every Toyota dealer (afaik) should be able supply and fit TTE parts.
Pete
Why? I dont see what all the fuss is about. Every Toyota dealer (afaik) should be able supply and fit TTE parts. Oh christ no! I wouldn't trust their monkeys to do it. Point is, you should use a tuning company to tune. Someone that understands the technology and theory. People that will look at your car checking things over to suit, and not some text book that says "bolt part x onto part y" ignoring everything else. I find it interesting that a TVR tuner has chosen Toyota as it's quite different from tuning TVRs. They obviously think there's a lot of business to be had from Toyota owners. Bobbeh
They're probably used to taking engines apart on a regular basis. Even so, adding things like turbo kits, it wouldnt surprise me if Toyota sell the ECU's or supply the maps for these bolt on kits to sell, so it's more like plug and play rather using some unknown quantity and having to set it up from the ground up.
