I believe its something to do with a US postal service requirement for right hand drive vehicles, .....but why convert one when you can buy a proper RHD version....thats just Dumb! Bit of a stretch to the switches though , and how do they get away with all those sharp bits of metal and exposed bolts? and this from the country which makes it virtually impossible to import RHD cars from Japan ......
