its a girls car ,as for power..whatpower

Clearly that's about as factual as say as Supra is a wankers car....obviously both are true in some instances ;) but hopefully even you would accept it's a bit of a generalisation.

Do you have an inferiority complex over power....obviously the MX-5 generally does have less power (and much less weight) but it is a smaller open top 2 seater sports car. Does that mean you cannot have fun even at stock power levels.....no :taped: Once you add even more power then you can take that fun to a whole new level.

But it will still be a mx5 and there is no changing that oh unless you put a BMW z3 kit on it but hard to work out which is worse

ROFL at some of you lot. Wake up and smell the coffee.. Most of you are okay but others... I dunno

If you knew anything about roadsters or (cars in general for that matter) you would know that the Z4 (even the 3.0 litre) and particularly the Z3 are about as crap as you can get. Because they are BMWs they are manly though right? ha ha ha ha ha. Love it. I wipe the floor with most other roadsters out there and regularly loose fatboy supras and calibras on the twisties. A 320 bhp supra has a power to weight ratio of 195bhp per tonne. Mine is 180 bhp per tonne and its only a 1.6!! Whats so good about out and out power when your car weighs more than a small planet?

Did I read that wrong or is he actually comparing his little toy mx5 trolley to a Supra? There both from japanese manufacturers, thankfully for us thats where the simalarity ends.... 1.6??? bahahahaha :respekt:

Now put the comb down and step away from the hairspray before you hurt yourself

I'd love to thrash one round a few b roads for a day, I'd probably have the s2000 though If I were looking for that type of car, at one point I was hoping my mum was buying one so I could use it now an again, she bought a 206cc in the end doh!

PS I'm sick of all the car debates these days,"my car is this, bla bla bla" if there should be any thing like this it should be jap cars vs the world!

Sorry, you were on a roll and as a fellow MX5 owner, agreed with you on most points but now you're just stirring it

Fat Betty....great name....professional site....nice car :)

Now put the comb down and step away from the hairspray before you hurt yourself

Now Slick....we all know that you know absolutely nothing about hair design do you. Why would YOU need hairspray. Hell you are the one with the girly red automatic car :blonde: :limp:

Now if you want to continue a debate about the power and handling characteristics of the MX-5 and how much fun they can be then happy to continue otherwise

Oh I'm cut to the bone

I've heard even new shape VW Beetle drivers snigger at MX5's from behind there 'flower holder' fitted dashboards? :p

Anyway its been fun taking the piss but I don't want you ladies getting upset anymore than you are, so I'll try and not laugh at MX5's for the rest of the week - can't say fairer than that can I?

:D Over and out.

Ha ha ha - seriously? A gay mx5 club? The humility of it.. Right! I'm off to top myself or worse.... I might just buy a fat old supra and ponce it about town until someone puts me out of my misery (chuckle). I cant argue with you guys... you're all too knowledgable for me. (more chuckles)

Might come back in the future when I want a good laugh though..

(PS - I am well aware of how good supras are. I actually think they look cool as well. I just couldnt resist winding up some of the less educated among you. :p )

JAP CARS FOR EVER!!!!!
