Homer
When does the stock fuel rail become a problem, is it with a certain size of injector - say 700cc or above? Can the stock one cope with 650cc?
Guest Terry S
Asnu flow tested my old twin feed stock rail and said it would cope with 700 bhp worth of fuel with no problem.
Homer
Just so its clear to a numpty like me - do you mean that the stock rail is twin feed or is some modification required? I.e. can I just drop in 650 injectors (with no other hardware) and just use an emanage to trim the fuel back?

Dual feed is just the radiator end of thr fuel rail adapted to take a feed, making the stock rail fed from both ends.

Okay, so the stock fuel rail requires some changes to make it feed from both ends, is that correct? Can you (Vortex) supply the parts to do this, and can it be done while the injectors, etc are still stock?
Guest Terry S
Yes mate, modified to be dual feed, & we can do an exchange rail. Injectors will make no difference, but TBH I wouldnt bother changing the rail until you upgrade injectors. Just making more work for yourself. BTW, I am pretty sure the normal rail will flow enough for 650cc's without going dual feed.
Lucifer
Is that 650 with or without the FPD removed? Cheers
