Steve W Posted February 12, 2006 Share Posted February 12, 2006 It's not actually supporting the car ! ! It's an MOT inspection ramp...the lift just sits across it permanently. Anyway you only use it to support ONE END (1.5 tons ONE end) and even then only a few inches above the solid/level ramp (for checking wheel bearings etc) Pretty sure there's only a FEW Class 4's we get bigger than ~3tons and then they go on the other Class 7 ramp. Anyway my mate Jeff was under there and i'm sure he would have done the He-Man thing and held it up while i escaped ?!?!?!? (maybe ) FatS.
