TT-DEK
Last week i asked your opinions on DECALS. you all said to try them and see what they look like. Below are some i took this morning, ( not the be st angles, but will do for this!
Pete
Not my cuppa I'm afraid. The only decals I like is the Cannonball guy that did his shopping list "Milk, Eggs, Bread, etc..." That was funny.
uk-rich
well if you like them thats all that really matters, personally i don't like them
geoffvalenti
Its a personal thing, but I'm not keen on them either. I tend to like the understated, sleeper look I don't see why I should advertise a company on the side of my car without being paid for it I also dislike it when you buy a car form a dealer and they put a sticker or even worse, paint their name on the bodywork (rear screen ones are OK, they're easy to remove) But if YOU like them, then why not, its your car after all PS the mkivsupra.net ones in the rear windows look cool
Matt 6
Not my thing mate but if you like them I would change them They need to be closer to the front of the door and then need to fill the hole panel top to bottom, but that is just my opinion. hadyn
Im sorry, but in my opinion that ruins your rather lovely Supra. Just my personal taste though!
TT-DEK
Hmmm. The more i look, the more i think there ok! NOT to much, and go wiv the calipers.
Daston
I think it would look better on a seriously modded car maybe a crazy body kit or somthing that way it almost deserves the shopping list but hey if you like them who cares right! Ian C
I think they are sexy I took mine off to put different ones on recently and the side of the car just looked like this really dull slab of single colour. Four or five understated decals down the door by the mirror breaks it up nicely. Of course, they have to be brand names of things actually in your car The Cannonball shopping list one was truly hilarious -Ian PS hang on a minute, "Brembo"? Aren't those gold painted j-spec calipers...? How many of those things do you actually have on your car you chav
SupraStar 3000
I took mine off, then put them back on after a week as it looks just tooooo sparse without them. Glad I did too ITS WHAT YOU THINK that counts They do go well with the gold brakes tho;)
Mike
I like them... but on the right car... i.e somthing like Dale B's - I think it's all or nothing... you can't mixed 'blacked out sleeper' with shopping list...
toyotasuprauk
Its your car if you like them then fine, but your looking for honest so I'm afraid I dont really like them.
TT-DEK
" Nice one ". I will be careful how i answer that one, I have Bilstein shocks all round / sum HKS bits on engine. WOULD luv some Brembo brakes?, Will av some Greddy stuff on next week?, so not too bad, at least 2 out of
TT-DEK
I will probably make the decision as to whether they stay or go after todays threads!!
SupraStar 3000
you really do need to have the parts listed on the car otherwise you get tarnished with the "shopping list" brush = chav. I think you can get way with it, if your planning on fitting the parts asap
Mike
I will probably make the decision as to whether they stay or go after todays threads!! based of the opinions of these losers? unless your doing this for a sale.. it's your car mate... be yourself!! SimonB
Not my cuppa I'm afraid. The only decals I like is the Cannonball guy that did his shopping list "Milk, Eggs, Bread, etc..." That was funny. That would be me! Wasn't the Cannonball though, it was Le Mans last year.
irfan_habib
I don't they look too bad, though they could have done with being a bit more spaced out from top to bottom. My supe had them on when I first got it, I did like them and kept them on for about 3 months, with the intention to always remove them. They are now off and I much prefer my supe without them. What do you think of them? If you like them, keep them on and then when you get bored and want a new look take them off. One thing I did find when I had my decals on was that the car got a lot more attention (not that it doesn't get attention anyways). And was always funny at traffic lights, people would be staring trying to read them all not realising the lights had changed.
