SimonB
I was just browsing round MVPs site in the US, and it looks like they've finally got their clone of the old Fields harness available. This basically is a short bundle of wires with an ECU plug on either end. The idea is you can solder any electronic gubbins you want in to the harness on a bench, then just plug it in between the ECU and the existing harness, without having to hang upside down in the footwell cutting wires with 5cm of play in! Fields made the original one, but stopped a year or so ago. Would be very handy for anyone installing RLTC for example, or other ECU gubbins. Too bloody late for me as I've installed mine now, but for anyone else they're available from MVP Motorsports for $275USD.
Terminator
Having owned a Field Harness for several years, I can say they are a must, as stated above making any ECU electrical mods much easier to carry out. The other big bonus is, it is very easy to leave the connector out of the loop and return to stock if ever you need to. The manufacturer knows there is no competition hence the $275 + shipping price. IMHO it is better than the Field as it has colour coded wires for some important functions. All Field wires are black
THOR Racing
if I could source the connectors we could make them at THOR. But where do we find the connectors?? Pete

Wez
Has anyone here purchased anything from MVP, what are they like?
THOR Racing
We've purchased items from AMP before (ECU connector wise) but they have to ask the manufacturer if they can resell it. Even got some from FCI (in France), Rover KV6 engine ECU connectors. Next time I look at the ECU I'll try to take a note of the AMP part number.
