Gaz Walker
Nightmare. I spotted a dodgy chassis number on an Aristo we were buying for a friend. Confronted the seller and there was a whole load of history on it. The car was legit though now, but had the vin changed in the past. Gaz. terribleturner
Not good, i bought a XR31 many years ago. The suspension looked funny at the front so gave it to a mate to check it out and it turned out to be 2 cars welded together Took it straight back to the garage i bought it off and got my money nack straight away. Then informed the local plod Never heard a word about it though after that.
Pete
I'd be right round the sellers place with a large bat and demanding a refund or causing damage to the tune of the value lost.

sideshowbob
Thats awful for the guy... gutted! The garage in question (watlington garage aka the mx5 centre), is pretty local to me, have been there a few times, and tbh, i wouldn't buy a sealed packet of fags from them. The majority of the stock is just rubbish, filthy, bits missing/broken etc... real low grade auction stuff. All the above is just IMO though:taped:

letmeshowyou
interesting about the MX5 centre - I went to look at a Skyline there a long long time ago! Wonder how recently he had the car!
