RobSheffield
did that too turned out to be a wire broken on the plug that goes into the IACV
GazzaGSi
Ended up being some bodge it & scarper job from one of the previous owners! There were 2 Black and Red wires coming out of the plug that had snapped at some point and they had used electricians tape to hold them together. Obviously came apart when I unplugged it! Manage to bodge it myself to get me home, now going to be doing a little soldering And just so you all know, with my bodge job it ticked over a dream!!! Yay Im back on the road....again! Fingers crossed this will be the last of my problems for alittle while, its costing me a small fortune! Replacing acouple of sensors with my previous problem which then ended up being the ecu itself and now replacing the ICV when it was probably just playing up due to the dodgy connections! At least I know things that are right now as well as learning myself. Cheers all big:respekt:
