Fahrenheit Posted February 9, 2006 Share Posted February 9, 2006 PPPPPP PLEASE HELP !!!!Well finally picked it up last night - immaculate inside and scared the @?!£ out of me on the way home! I have a few questions that i would be very grateful if some of you could answer 1:- Car has fitted - exhaust - not sure what make, induction kit- yes i have read the threads on this, and finally dump valve and HKS turbo timer. Are there any mods that would make my drive more pleasureable - maybe not faster in a sense. 2:- On turning ignition before starting - i can hear whirring noise is this just fuel pump - healthy or not? 3:- Electric window on drivers side sticks very slighty mid way and is maybe not the fastest window in the west! Chris Wilson Posted February 9, 2006 Share Posted February 9, 2006 It won't be the motor, that turns at a few thousand RPM and gear drives the mechanism, only if the sliders or the mechanism is sticky, maladjusted or corroded will the window be OK for a pert of its travel, but not for other parts. A strip down, examination and maybe a lubrication or adjustment could fix it, or show what's up. If you search people have posted on how to remove the door inner liner.
