Bobbeh
Great pics, I was watching a program on Discovery Civilisations about how the Aztecs or similar group had their ancient city there, but it was built over, there are still remains dotted around though

Green Peace
Thats incredible Jake, what amazing photos...looks like planning permission can be overcome with a few pesos! Only place I have ever been is Tijuana in Mexico...just over the border from the States, the contrast is amazing, its like going through a time tunnel back to the 50's with the cars and buses spewing out black smoke...huge old Caddy's, just like the cars you would find in Cuba! everyone looks dodgy, your every move as a tourist is tracked by every wallet seeking pair of exorcet eyes, round every street corner...I felt like a flamingo in a Lion enclosure! Mexico City is one place I'd love to visit along with Rio, Brazil and Moscow...I feel the travel bug coming on... You should do some travelling Jake...before you get bogged down with work again..just slap it on the ole plastic;) ..we only live once

Charlotte
Anyone here has seen 'City of God'? Yeah excellent film, based on a true story too isn't it? Didn't like the bit where the kids were being shot though.
JohnA
It was shot amidst these 'toy houses' wasn't it? Council houses that replaced the slums (ooops, just checked - I'm talking bollox, it was in Brazil, Rio)

Yep did that too from San Diego, loved the passport control on the way in, that being a revolving metal gate!lol! and all the "hey amigo!" it is crazy as you say with the contrast of the two places within a mile! just nuts!
