Shovels Posted February 7, 2006 Share Posted February 7, 2006 OK, I have a dilemna... I went self-employed over 6 years back starting up a computer company called V22. I went back to employment, but, as some of you may know I have decided to give it another shot. The thing is that although I've had V22 as a business name for ages not many people remember the name. If I phone up someone and say... Hi it's Neal from V22 - not many people immediately remember, I usually have to then add, it's about your computer - Then they remember. I also get confusion - was that a 'B' or a 'V', My business is now more about web design, before it was mainly hardware/software support. Any suggestions for a modern, catchy business name. My 2 boys would love that, but can you imagine phoning someone up saying "Hi there, this is Spiderman"- I'd get laughed at! textus intentio - shame I can't say it! Thanks Carlos, I'm really after a catchy name - the descriptive name would be good for a domain name though. IDO - I think I could land in fairly sticky water if I called myself Insight - There's a big IT company called Insight, they supply hardware and software. I normaly use the 'V22 - Computer Services' approach, but it's a bit of a mouthful.
