jamesmark
getting a set of koni's fitted tomorrow with eibach springs but a few people on here said that they are not adjustable, but i have been advised they are by sbits the mechanic thats looks after my soop and i saw the box tonight and they have said they are on the box............. so are they or aren't they, and whiffbitz advertises them as adjustables (never got them from there as got them same price delivered as what he does without vat and del bought from koni direct ) but i have read you can only adjust coilovers bit confused
Lucifer
Damping - Adjustable Rebound - NOT Adjustable separately Compression - NOT Adjustable separately Ride height - NOT Adjustable

Ian W
the damping is what will give the car either a soft and bouncy ride or a rock hard ride i think.

jamesmark
so are koni's good then? obviously no match for 1k plus stuff but i have read on her that koni's and a set of eibachs is a good set up for general use and can cope with track use too (again not as good as 1k plus setups)

Just make sure you replace the top mounts too and the AR linkages.

AR linkages? whats that? sorry lucifer but i am still learning and is that an exspensive job? oh AND WHAT DOES IMHO mean my head is spinning with all these abreviations (spelling)

Need4Speed
Konis are adjustable off the car. I'd call them setable. I've got them and they're good value and work well. There are two different ride heights you can set them at. Fennsport sell them from stock, usually. Replace the top mounts if they're at all worn - do them at the same time as the shock absorbers because it'll save you loads of time. I only changed one of mine because an orangutan with a big spanner had chewed it up.
