lockys96 Posted February 5, 2006 Share Posted February 5, 2006 this may get moved to technical, just thought id get a better response here.. i need some service advice, i need to know everything i need to have changed, my car is a manual turbo. 1. oil change 2. coolant change 3. Gearbox oil change 4. Diff oil change 5. new oil filter 6. New fuel filter? 7. Do i need my brake fluid drained, and new added? anything missed? If someone could advise on the exact product to buy for each number, and where to buy. i know people say use different gearbox oil. Many thanks guys/girls:giveup: i use royal purple oil toyota coolent is best for supras i think or the water wetter is also very good if its a manual its v160 mate if your toyota cant get it i have loads mate very rear you need to change diff really? ask for the supra 2003 supra oil filters they have better flow rates and bigger magnets in than the early oil filters nes fuel filter toyota again but a furker to change them bolts are a head ache to crack lose and if the break fluid looks a little dark and your brakes arnt the best in the world i would change any way mate also maybe an idea to drop the power steering fluid as well mate hope this helps mate Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

(4.7 litres + 0.3 litres if changing filter) 2. coolant change = Toyota pre-mixed Red Coolant 00272-1LLAC-01 (9.5litres for manual car) 3. Gearbox oil change = 6 Speed Manual Transmission V160 Oil (1.8 Litres required 08885-01306) 4. Diff oil change= Any good brand 75W-90 gear oil Check suitability for LSD if your car has one fitted. 5. new oil filter = TRD Japan Oil Filter 00642-90915-001 6. New fuel filter? = Standard Toyota Fuel Filter 23300-49195 7. check brake fluid, Use any DOT4 or DOT5.1 - 1 litre for total refill 8. check cambelt, power steering fluid, clutch fluid damm, thats a lot of coolant, now where to buy? i checked envy and found the oil filter, fuel filter, and coolant Who is the cheapest, or should i go straight to MR.T Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

(4.7 litres + 0.3 litres if changing filter) I had my oil changed yesterday and 5 litres was put in, though looking at the dipstick it's only registering about 3/4 full. Any reason for this?
