ardasaliah
Hi, Changed my front pad yesterday (UK) - and noticed that the new set I put in had a smaller friction area then the pads that came off. The pad shape is the same so slotted in nicely. The pad friction area now sits about 5mm away from the edge of the disc. Is this likely to cause any problems? uk-rich
is it due to the sloped edge, the old pad may have worn down past this, so looks like it may be smaller ?

veilsideTT
Imagine that after time you will get a big ass lip on the discs, that will also go rusty too! Change them IMO
Simon
Take them back, they obviously aren't for a supra, they don't fit becasue the friction area is smaller than on originals
Guest slow dog
not only that your breaking will be less as well so stopping at high speed will be a problem
