Daston
Hi guys Had a long hard think (well 5min) about getting a Nur spec fitted. I know the exhaust is around the £500 mark but how much would it cost to fit?? Also can anyone post a pic of one fitted?? Cheers
LeeT
garages tend to charge around £40 even though its only two bolts. if i were you i'd do it myself, its really easy
Daston
Really sweet!
Bobbeh
You can get much better for much cheaper than the Nur spec, dont get me wrong its a good exhaust but has since been superceeded. I got mine fitted for £20 and have it since fitted for nothing since I'm friendly with the guys at the local tyre place.
Clarkey
Go for the BoostLogic 4". RSR's, Nurs are drinking straws by comparison.
Daston
yeah I want something that gives a nice low down bumble but also a good note when booting.
Bobbeh
They all do that m8, the Nur is great for that, but the piping sucks so it hangs down low and can get caught under the car. What kind of mods do you have? There is no point going for a 4" system unless you're pushing out big power, unless you can pick one up for the same price as what you were looking for. Daston
Well the problem I have is Mr T decided to steal my turbos! then shout "I pitty the fool"! so basicly it is currently a stock NA (engine wise)
Bobbeh
Stock NA will be noisier than a TT, so for that you'll be easy to please
Dragonball
Just got this through from Micheal Hi Paul Just to let you know the RSR exhaust arrived safely on Thursday and was fitted this morning. Baffle was removed and ......... bloody hell what a piece of kit- I have just spent the last 3 hours driving around with my windows down and stereo off listening to the exhaust note. Its addictive!!!!!! Though I do feel a bit deaf. A fantastic bit of kit- now just need to save up for the decat pipes. Thanks Mike
RedM
Paul, Is the RS*R full stainless or just the back box?
annan
Thats me in Paul's email- I think the rsr is stainless steel back box and mild steel for the rest of it- the sound is amazing- and i have got a tt. If you get one- take the baffle out- you will wake up the dead- it sounds so loud and throaty- the boys at the local garage who did my mot yesterday wet themselves when they were revving it for emissions. Guest slow dog
Does mild steel rust? yes it does but will take around the 5 to 10 year mark to kill an exhaust mate
