Nic
hi all any of you out there got lambo doors and wot set did you buy Hi Rob I don't have them fitted, but I have seen quite a few being fitted by my tuners here. The only kit they fit now is the Borzoi Wing System, which is a Japanese brand who makes a bolt on kit specifically for the Supra. where from I can supply if needed. how much Not cheap, the BWS kit would be around £1,250 delivered how did they fit how much hassel If you buy a cheap, non car specific kit, they are an absolute b*tch to fit, involving major cutting, fabricating and welding of the door pillars to get them to fit/line up/open/close properly. You can get cheaper kits, but what you'll save on the price of the kit, you'll spend in labour trying to get it to fit properly. The Supra doors are very heavy, so need a really strong, well designed kit to support them, most kits just aren't up to the job and are prone to bending/breaking. Make sure if you are going to buy a kit, that it is Supra specific and will bolt on, there will still be minor modifying to be done, but a hell of a lot easier than trying to make a generic kit fit. This car belongs to a guy here, it has a powered lambo door kit fitted which remotely opens when the doors are unlocked with the key fob, this took MAJOR work to fit though. veilsideTT
Is it possible to fit lambo doors without removing the wings? My Veilside skirts are moulded into the wing and removing the wing would feck them up big time! I'm not thinking of doing lambo's but I've never considered it as i didn't believe it would be possible without taking the wings off
