some of you my remember I adopted two cats a few months ago.

Well sadly, Winston was ran over this morning and died on the way to the vets. Died from internally bleeding

Original thread:

Its stupid to become attached to animals but I'm gutted, totally gutted :(

What really breaks my hart tho is seeing the other cat being so downbeat and glum. Can't seem to muster a purr out of him at the moment :(

What a shitter :( Guess I'll go out a dig a hole in the garden.

Sorry to hear this mate.

I'm a soppy bastard too when it comes to animals, it's really tough when you lose one i know.

The other one might be down for a little while but if there like dogs then it'll realise that all of a sudden it's getting all the attention and laps it up.

We lost one of our dogs a few years back and Sam, the younger one, hadn't known life without Gemma. We were worried what impact the loss would have on him but within a few days/weeks he began to enjoy the extra fuss being made of him.

oh no I am so sorry. I remember that thread when you first adopted them and how touching it was.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I love cats as well, and its never nice to have your pet die, but even worse when they are just snatched away from you

I'm gutted for you and for Monty. Hope Monty is okay, you need to give him lots of love and lots of kisses. :(

thanks guys.

Wasn't looking to have any pets in the first place. Both cats just adopted us, so I won't be looking for a replacment sadly.

Very independent cats, so they always liked the "outdoor" life.

Even put in a cat flap for them. They used to go out hunting as a pair.

Once they even brought me a woodpigeon. I would love to know how they managed to catch that thing :)

To be honest, I have more sympathy and respect for animals than 'most' humans (no disrespect guys - your all an exception)
