mikeysupra Posted February 2, 2006 Share Posted February 2, 2006 rumur has it the bridge at maidstone is back on now on friday nights apparently the restrictions have been lifted and it,s all back on again!!! first one is tommorrow night friday 3rd!!! anyone goin to this or even know if the rumur is correct????? this cruise used to be massive on fridays with people coming from all over. It is on and has been for a few weeks now... and as for the ploice they will be there in thier numbers !!! So its banger racer is it then!?, for anyone old enough to remember!, the bridge in Maidstone was the place to go if you had a modified car. Sure the oiks in their Saxo etc will be there but for the modded car enthusiast it's a good place to park up, socialise & watch other people act like tits!. don't be so quick to rubbish what hasn't already started, me for one, I'm glad they've reopened it, I'm an oldish bastid who loves his cars & own a Mitsi Evo and i'll be there for sure, I'd recommend it to anyone, just park up off the road!! Mike wasnt saying dont go... If you do wish to then go for it. All i was saying was they used to have alot of races down there and as they were all racing for the papers of the car, some people would do almost any thing to win, and there were a few big accidents down there prob the reason it got banned. If you want to go there by all means do but like you said park away from the main bit of raod by the bridge as who know who might fly past you parked car.
