ive developed this recently but cannot track it down as you say the car has to be under load. my first thoughts would be the crank pulley but mine seems to be fine. so anyone else got any ideas? as its bloody annoying. i'll have another look round this weekend

what makes mine a bit more strange is that it started after going single. originally i thought it was the turbo but ive changed that for another and its the same. it does it when off boost but under load and its doing my head in.

Must be harmonics then. as you have an auto the flywheel can't be having an effect....as you don't have one.

New stock crank pulley and engine mounts sounds like a good idea. Have you got any movement in any other pulley? Any of the others non stock?

all pulleys are stock, so could be a sign of crank pulley on its way out? i'll have a good look at all pulleys and belts tomorrow

We have just signed a deal with Interpro in Bristol to do all our tuning and rolling road work. It would be around £70+vat to do a full check and power run as you get a dyno run as well.

would that include some minor tweaks on my very simple fuel controller?:eyebrows:

I'm not sure as we are in the early stages of the relationship and prices are still under review. I would have thought we could do it tho.

Inspecting the crank pulley is a bit more difficult that you might think. Easiest way is from under the car, remove the under tray. I'm assuming you don't have stock boost pipes in the way.

Its the rubber between the two castings that perishes. I have just fabbed up 20 Crank pulley tools for sale to use specifically with the Autos to remove it. They are £30 each include the cap bolts too.
