Gazboy
Oh isn't this interesting. Has Veilside ever done a pedestrian safety test with their nose cones? I can't see it deforming around your kneecaps myself, but I'm willing to be proved wrong (as always), in my uneducated opinion it'd probably cut your legs off. What about FMIC's? They aren't exactly the lightest thing to have when running someone over, or T-boning someone bolted ontot he front of your car- has a Supra ever been accident tested with one fitted? What about bonnet scoops? Do carbon fibre bonnets act like a cleaver? Are the splitters on the Top Secret bumper like a horizontal giullotine for ankles? As usual, my post isn't meant to be as arsey as it reads.

I will buy an SM1 and possibly an SM4 I think...will need an SM4 to mount a bigger camera as buying a Sony HVR-Z1 which is the same size and weight almost same as Sony PD150...The SM1 will be great inside the back window with small camera etc etc
China Man
Yep I hired the SM1 from VMI for £50 p/d not realising for an extra £30 I could of bought one... It is ok, you are loaded. I could rent it off you for 1 pound + postage than Nice to have 3 camera rolling at once, once pointing front , one pointing at the car you over take and one taking the face of the driver you just over take. China Or how bout i buy the SM4 and you buy the SM1 and we can just borrow them off each other when we need em that will save you and me some money..Im quite happy to buy the bigger one. The only thing that worries me about these things..is how safe are they...and wether when mounting on a bonnet for instance if the heat will effect the suction...but very fair priced products..could build our own using a couple of sink plungers and a music stand:rlol:

China Man
I thought about that too and my idea was to tie a string to the tripod just incase it fell off can't be more techinical than that. I will buy it in 18 days, I get paid then. Buy now and gf will notice China
