nismo_lp
Worth getting? Does it make much of a difference on the j-specs. Or should i just got all out and go for the uk breaks??? Remembering i dont really want to be spending too much money at the moment!
Bobbeh
Chris Wilson does sell decent road pads a lot of people have complemented. UK Brakes are the better long term option if you can afford them.
Homer
I bought CW fast road pads along with new stock discs, braided lines and new fluid. It was a total transformation, both in braking power and responsiveness. However, if you intend to do hard stops from 90+ they will never match the 'UK' brakes. Yep, My brake upgrade cost £550, wish I'd spent the extra £400 and gone for the 'UK' option. In my defence the price was a lot higher when I first bought the Supra! Pig
have people considered uprated uk pads? I am not totally happy with the uk brakes as have had them get too hot a couple of times leaving me in sticky situations! are there any options? Homer
They will certainly make a difference, I only replaced the discs because they were worn. I've taken a few people out in the car and all have commented how good the braking power is (even a couple of owners of UK cars). If your discs and good and you have decent 5.1 fluid then by all means you should have a very good brake setup (at least

I do uprated fast road UK pads, just a few sets left at the offer price of 140 a full car set, plus 6.80 P&P. i do full race UK pads, too, 380 a full car set. these will work fine on the road if dust and noise don't bother you. AWESOME bite, and you won't fade them... They work well from stone cold too.

nismo_lp
Isnt there a chance that pads like the fast road pads would warp the standard jap discs???
Jurgen-Jm-Imports
no mate the only thing that warps them is excessive heat. i hate them race pads you have to wash your car and wheels practically everytime u drive it:badidea:
